Michal Imielski

Michal Imielski is an award-winning director working across film, theatre, and opera. His stories explore mortality, transformation, and emotional truth. Based in Sydney, he currently leads SHH Theory and is developing seven new feature films across 2026–2028.

His work spans cinema, opera and performance, including Dead Sunrise, How to Lose Sight, and Winterreise.
